Kurt Knight Service Manager
Kurt is originally from Indianapolis, where he was an Honor Graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute with a degree in Automotive Diesel and Industrial Vehicle Technology. After graduation, he was Service Manager for K-Mart automotive centers in the Indianapolis area. He moved to Fort Wayne in 1991 and was Outside Sales Manager for a local NAPA store. Kurt then moved into the new car dealership field in 1993 and has had held positions as Warranty Administrator, Assistant Body Shop Manager, Service Advisor and Service Manager for both domestic and imported car lines. The last nine years of that experience was spent as Service Advisor for a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Kurt joined Vorderman Motor Werks in October, 2006.

Terry Kaufman-Hunsberger Technician
After his Coast Guard service as a Machinery Technician, Terry graduated from Ivy Tech in 1983 with an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology. From there he went to work for Reg Vorderman, who was Service Manager for the local Mercedes-Benz dealer. When Reg founded Vorderman Motor Werks in 1990, Terry joined him as a Mercedes-Benz technician, and today he is the only original Vorderman Motor Werks staff member.

Bill Jacobs Technician
Bill got his automotive start right out of high school by working in his father’s service station in Marion for five years. After working as a technician in an independent repair shop for the next two years, he opened his own service station which grew to ten employees in eight years. He then went to work as a technician for the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Marion for three years before joining Vorderman Motor Werks in 1995.

Mike Topalov Utility Technician
Mike started his automotive career by graduating from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2000. From there, he has worked as a used car Reconditioning Technician for a local new car dealership and a local used car dealership, Mike does tire work, customer pick-up and delivery, and customer car washes. He joined Vorderman Motor Werks in August, 2004.
